Could I enlist your help to draw the above event to the attention of MDOC's membership please.
 
As you probably know, SELOC have been working on plans for an event in the Quays and stretching up to central Manchester for some time. Salford Council want us to run a test event prior to giving their formal support to this, so we've had to squeeze in a small event at very short notice as best we can. This will be next Thursday, 21 June, using the area we have mapped so far on the Quays and Media City.
 
We could do with 30-50 competitors to come and have the first run on a brand new 1:4000 ISSOM map to make a valid test. It will be a quality little event on a very good area.
 
We'd be most grateful if you could send something around using your Email alert system to draw attention to it and maybe put some details on your website too. A flier is attached. I've sent this to you as webmaster, but if you don't run the Email system as well then could you forward it to whoever does?
