Please note the following update to the car parking information given in my last email. This information was supplied by Chris Rostron (mapper and checker) and posted on the website (but missed by me!) last weekend.
"The Kingfisher
pub has a small car park. There is a large car park adjacent for users of the
shops opposite. If you are not prepared to buy a small item from e.g. Morrisons
then street parking is available at the end of the road".
He also adds "I think it is unwise to advise people
to use the ‘general car park just behind the pub’ without a warning that it is a
private car park".
Don't get clamped!!
