Please be aware that anyone choosing to compete in the Red Bull event (which looks interesting!) – see below – who is also keen to compete for MDOC in the CSC 1st round on March 15th you will need to let me know since it may have a bearing which event MDOC elects to take part in for the CSC 1st round....ie if a few of our potential scorers have taken part in the Red Bull event then they would be non-comp at the O event at Sherwood in March so we would elect to go to the event in Cumbria.

I will send out the entry forms for 2015 after the Event Scheduling Group has met on 18 October and I have a full list of fixtures.
Please can you make your club members aware of the below if you think your club may elect to take part in the EMOA /NOC heat at Sherwood Pines.
Red Bull O Event at Sherwood Pines – CSC Heat
Red Bull have booked an adventure-style race in Sherwood Pines on Saturday 1 November 2014. The event is described as a brand new racing concept, based on orienteering and will include completing special tasks. Full details will appear in the next CompassSport.
However clubs and competitors should be aware that Sherwood Pines is currently embargoed for competitors to the East Midlands CompassSport Cup Round on 15th March 2015.
