The new date has been arranged so as not to clash with other major orienteering events and club members will need to go a long way to find another orienteering event to challenge it that weekend.Enjoy good food, good company and a range of orienteering challenges in which novices, seniors and elites compete on even terrain.
‘Team Timperley’ will be staging a ‘Multi-day O Event’ for you to enjoy from the comfort of your dining table – no pre-event training or warm-up needed. Injuries, inexperience or inconsistent performance during the last twelve months will be no impediment to success. This is your chance to gain a podium place regardless of your orienteering ability. Back by popular demand, the ‘Bring a Bake’ competition. This year you are invited to bring any bake of your choice and give it any orienteering-related title: perhaps some individual rock cakes – ‘A Boulder Field’; your best recipe for cheese straws – ‘The Famous MDOC Yellow Control Stakes’…show off your baking skills and get inventive with your naming; Hear the wisdom of two top overseas orienteers.
