I'm happy to announce an open exam for Associate Seed Botanist for the California Department of Food and Agriculture. I would appreciate if you would share widely and cross post.

The following examination is being offered on an Open basis with a Final Filing Date: Friday, March 30, 2018.

The Associate Seed Botanist exam will establish a list of eligible candidates that can apply for future job openings when announced.

If you are interested in applying for future job openings at the California State Seed Lab you must first take this civil service exam to establish eligibility. Also note the minimum qualifications for this exam do not require a candidate to be a Certified Seed Analyst or Registered Seed Technologist at the time of the exam.
