Good morning,

I would like to introduce myself to the Wisconsin aging network; I am the new transportation specialist with the Greater Wisconsin Agency on Aging Resources. I am here to provide aging lead agencies with transportation training and technical assistance. My goal is to ensure the availability and quality of programs and services to meet the changing needs of older people in Wisconsin.

Here is a little about my background:

I began my career in 2007 with Southwest Michigan Regional Planning Commission as a transportation planner in which I worked directly with two Metropolitan Planning Organizations developing and managing their Long Range Transportation Plans, Transportation Improvement Programs and Unified Work Programs. After about three years (2010) I took a position as a transportation planner for East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission (ECWRPC). Over the 10 years I worked for ECWRPC I focused on public and specialized transportation including development of Public Human Service Coordinated Transportation plans, administration of Section 5310 Enhance Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities program funds for the Appleton Transportation Management Area and the development of Transit Development Plans for Appleton, Oshkosh and Fond du Lac. In 2019, I became a certified mobility manager through the Wisconsin Association of Mobility Managers. Over the course of my thirteen-year career I have developed the skills, relationships and expertise in the area of transportation so I can be a resource to you.
