Transportation Coordination is a very important role in our organization and the position just opened up in our Balsam Lake office.

Administrative Assistant - 3 (Transportation Program)
This position is responsible for the effective planning and implementation of the ADRC's transportation programs including the volunteer driver, social van and adapted mobility device programs. Coordinate
and monitor assigned program activities in order to ensure effective operations and compliance with established contract standards.
- Duties/Responsibilities

Essential Duties: These duties represent the typical duties and responsibilities assigned to this position but may not be inclusive of all tasks performed.
- Working with the Director, determine program requirements and develop the criteria of service and standards of program evaluation.
- Provide technical assistance and advice to agency personnel and others to exchange information and resolve problems.
- Evaluate program activities to determine progress and effectiveness to make recommendations concerning changes as needed.
- Provide proactive communication with customers about programs and services.
- Serve as primary contact for the agency's transportation program with contracted agencies as well as the general public.
- Maintain data files on drivers to ensure compliance of state contract.
- Recruit, train, evaluate, recognize and motivate program volunteers.
- Complete and submit necessary program applications and documents to Wisconsin Dept. of Transportation office and other reports as needed.
- Set schedule for Social Van program.
- Process new trip requests utilizing dispatch software and resolve issues that arise.
- Perform related duties = Attending meetings, conferences, maintain records and prepare reports.

Education/Experience:
Associate Degree in business, administration, human services or a related field; and three (3) years' experience in related field; a combination of education and experience may be considered.

Work Environment and Physical Demands: Work is sedentary in nature performed within the Government Center or satellite offices/other campus locations. Lifting requirement is 15 - 20 pounds on an occasional basis.
Wrist and finger manipulation due to filing, compiling, calculating, or computer work. Equipment used may include, but is not limited to: computer, scanner, printer, keyboard, calculator, telephone, copy and fax machine. Additional physical/mental requirements
