I am very happy to announce that a collaboration between the Wisconsin Department of Justice and GWAAR has resulted in a grant being awarded to develop and administer a Statewide Elder Abuse Hotline. More details about the hotline will be shared in the near future, but our agency is now ready to get the ball rolling with hiring the right candidate to serve as the hotline coordinator. 

Like the Wisconsin Guardianship Support Center helpline, administered by GWAAR, we expect this hotline to be extremely helpful to people who may not be sure of who to contact to get information about elder abuse or to how to report it.
