Predictions for C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS Nick James 17 Sep 2024 20:13 UTC

C/2023 A3 is now being observed in the morning sky from the southern
hemisphere and it looks very healthy. I've put together some notes on
the predicted magnitude and observabilty here:

https://britastro.org/section_news_item/comet-c-2023-a3-tsuchinshan-atlas-looking-good-for-october

There is every chance that this could be a really good comet in the
evening sky from October 11 onwards but please remember that this is a
comet and so it may not perform as well as we expect, or at all.

Any flights to locations with better weather, darker skies and nearer to
the equator are booked at your own risk...

Nick.
