Morning all,

looking at the recent estimates at cobs.si it looks as if 12P has undergone a significant outburst. Between the (UT) evening of April 2 and 3, the brightness surged by almost 1 magnitude. Also the DC seems to have increased (not much left to DC 9).

If real, it would be interesting to have a pre/post image comparison. TBH, I did not expect to see such an outburst at this stage.

I saw it last on the evening of April 2, i.e. pre-outburst. I'll keep my fingers crossed to catch it again in the remaining days before it is lost for good for me.
