Most enjoyable to watch, Nick. The sparse clouds help to highlight the appearance of the comet than if it was in a totally clear sky. France had really clear skies during the pre-dawn last night whereas I watched the clouds gradually covering much of England and I thought even Chelmsford might have missed out but you managed it successfully. Great to see! Cornwall also had it clear. If anyone else managed to get some results then do please share them. Let's see how persistent the tail is - forecast for the early hours of Saturday morning is still favourable. P.S. - I did observe 3 asteroids earlier in the night so happy with those.
