Alas by the time I got home Cygnus was too far to the NW and largely hidden by trees. Such a shame 12P couldn’t have done this last night! I made an observation of the comet at 1805UT yesterday, transparency was exceptionally good and I could see the comet. It was still a difficult target but definitely easier than on Monday. Also included in the drawing is a copy with some field stars identified.
Cheers,
-Paul
