It was very awkward to view. Had to use the Alt-Az mount on a sloping path, peering through a gap in the trees over a fence.
Just after at 01:14 BST a very bright meteor seen , below pan of big dipper. Visible mag - 1 or more, as bright as Venus perhaps lasted about 5 secs. Tracking left to right, alt just below that of
comet. Starting at approx 330 to 350 magnetic
Azimuth at say 10 degrees elevation and flattish trajectory before dropping down. Did it show up in Radio monitors, anybody know?
