Hello Nick, Richard et al

The comet is now at a point where with any clear skies I can finally get my 14inch onto it and look at the coma.  I don't have the specialist filters referred to but I do have an 642nm IR pass which includes the red part of the spectrum.  Would this help - or not - with looking at the comet structure using a mono camera?  Alternatively I'll try without a filter.
